Highly desired, this is a Cartier CPCP Tortue Monopoussoir, Ref. 2661. The one we have here is crafted in 18k pink gold, which is less commonly found. It has a silver guilloche dial with black outsized Roman numerals, blued steel hands and the coveted “Cartier Paris" signature under 12 o’clock. Its case is desirably sized at 34mm x 43mm and houses the manual wind calibre 045 MC, which was developed by THA Ebauche - a collaboration between Vianney Halter, Denis Flageollet (De Bethune), and F.P. Journe. This piece comes fitted with its original Cartier leather strap and 18k pink gold deployant buckle. It is also accompanied by its original CPCP box and certificate. Ca. 2008. |
