An attractive Jaeger-LeCoultre Triple Calendar Moonphase in 18k yellow gold, Ref. 141.008, released as a limited edition piece to celebrate JLC's 150th anniversary. It features a silvered dial with applied gold arrow markers, Arabic numerals at 12-3–9, day and month apertures, a moonphase display, and a red-tipped calendar hand, which points to the date on the chapter ring. Powered by manual winding caliber P494/1A. The 36mm case has beautiful tear-drop lugs, and the case back is engraved with “150th Anniversary” alongside the watch’s limited serial number. Natural oxidation on the case and the JLC 18k gold tang buckle suggest that this example has been set aside untouched for some time. This watch is accompanied by its original certificate, guarantee card with holder, and box. Circa 1983.
