Remarks |
A gorgeous Piaget Polo Square in 18k yellow gold with a Lapis Lazuli dial. Ref. 7131 C701. This model is one of the original Polos first introduced in 1979 and is powered by Piaget calibre 7P which, at the time, was the thinnest quartz movement in the world. This particular example has a ribbed dial made of beautiful blue lapis lazuli stone with yellow gold gadroons. The watch is a solid 127g on the wrist and has a completely integrated 18k yellow gold case and bracelet, both of which echo the ribbed pattern of the dial in one seamless design. Turned over, you’ll find the “hidden crown” on the case back. Ca. 1980’s.
