A men’s Cartier Ceinture LM in 18k yellow gold, Ref. 78099, manual winding, with an original Swiss-only “Mark 2” dial. This Mark 2 dial, as it is referred, is distinguished by a pointy “A” in “CARTIER” and no “CARTIER” secret signature.

“Ceinture” is French for “belt” and the watch is so named because of its case shape, which resembles that of a belt buckle. Its bezel has a lovely stepped design with a cut-out to nest the flat octagonal shaped crown. Case diameter 27mm. With original Cartier gold plated tang buckle. Ca. 1970's.
