A rare early Daniel Roth Double Ellipse GMT, Ref. N238, crafted in 18k rose gold, featuring a grey “pinstripe” guilloché dial with Roman numerals, a date display at 12 o’clock and a GMT function at 6 o’clock.

Its signature “double-ellipse” case measures 35mm x 38mm, and in addition to being a rare model, its precious metal construction is less commonly seen compared to the stainless steel version.

Turning the watch over, the display caseback reveals the self-winding calibre with 27 jewels. This model dates back to the late 1990s, and this particular piece bears a two-digit serial number. It comes fitted with an original Daniel Roth leather strap and 18k rose gold tang buckle signed “GRG”.
