Jaeger‑LeCoultre “Mystery” Ref. 7675, crafted in 18k yellow gold. An intriguing design, its dial is composed of sapphire crystal with a small champagne‑coloured disc at the centre.
A study of illusion, the hands appear to float, seemingly disconnected from any mechanism, an impression heightened by the absence of a crown at 3 o’clock. The watch is in fact wound via a discreet backwinder crown, engaging the manual wind movement.
The barrel‑shaped case has a fine brushed finish and measures 33mm across. With a Jaeger‑LeCoultre gold plated tang buckle. Circa 1970s.
