A magnificent vintage Patek Philippe “King-size” Calatrava from the early 1960’s. Ref. 2481. With a 37mm 18k yellow gold case, this watch was considered larger than usual at the time. It features an integrated concave bezel and gorgeous curved stepped lugs that remain beautifully sharp. The case’s natural oxidation indicates that the watch has been set aside untouched for some time. The dial is silver coloured with applied gold hour markers.

Powering the watch is manual wind Calibre 27 SC. The watch is fitted with an original Patek strap and its Patek 18k gold tang buckle, which displays the same natural oxidation as the case. It comes accompanied by its original Patek box and serial no. tag. A remarkably beautiful vintage piece.
