A magnificent early 1960s Patek Philippe “King-size” Calatrava, Ref. 2481. With a 37mm 18k yellow gold case, this watch was considered larger than usual at the time. It features an integrated concave bezel and gorgeous curved stepped lugs that remain beautifully sharp. The case’s natural oxidation indicates that the watch has been set aside untouched for some time.

Its dial is silver coloured with applied gold hour markers. Powering by manual wind Calibre 27 SC. Fitted with an original Patek strap and its Patek 18k gold tang buckle, which displays the same natural oxidation as the case. It comes accompanied by its original Patek box and serial no. tag. A remarkably beautiful vintage piece.
